Parental Partnership

As parents we recognise you as your child’s first and most enduring educator. We aim to work in partnership with you as we believe in doing so it will have as positive impact on your child’s learning and development.

To ensure a smooth transition between home and nursery every child will be allocated a key worker who will be your child’s main contact upon arrival and departure from the nursery. Your key worker will monitor and observe your child’s development and record their progress throughout the year in their developmental file. This will be available to you at all times and we encourage you to add to it with key events that you have observed. Information is continually relayed to parents, via parents meetings, progress reports and daily feedback.

We also hold an annual Sports Day and Nativity Play, which parents are encouraged to attend. Additionally we have a hairdresser who visits the nursery every month and will trim your child’s hair as per your instructions.
